I was holding this baby today in my hands. It’s simply awesome. Huge and gorgeous screens, super fast and responsive, also using the stylus for drawing was kind of nice.
I was however a bit upset on the price: 700-800 euros. That’s kind of a deal killer.

.,wow,. I just got a $829.99 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37" HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use EgoWîn.com

I have been waiting for a stylus for so long on android, im not really interested in this product per say, how ever i use a tablet pc right now and take all my notes etc from school and work hand written in evernote. This is great because although i like the keyboard my ideas flow better when i write. Moreover i do believe if apple ever got proper stylus input on the ipad (not the big inaccurate pens they have) doctors offices and other businesses would have snatched that up so they are not using so much paper for forms etc. Just imagin… how efficient would paperwork be if it all could be filled out on a tablet, not to mention the ease of transferring it to others via email or what have you.

I am sure that android will be all up in the business world’s grill soon.

No one is disputing the fact that Note doesn’t have a SAMOLED+ designation but the reply was based on a rant on 7.7 which has the SAMOLED+. Am i missing something?

The Note does not have a Super AMOLED Plus screen. It has a Super HD AMOLED screen. No Plus. I have not yet seen any information on this new Super HD AMOLED screen, but since Samsung does not label it as a Plus screen, I assume it is the older pentile design.

No, it requires a special digitizer that the Tab 7.7 lacks.

Edit: Not sure about the video/photo editing software on the 7.7, will have to check on that.

Bear in mind a) this is pre-production hardware and software and b) I was trying to write while also holding a camera. In more casual use of the Note I’ve had far better results – it even did a fair job of recognizing cursive.

You don’t HAVE to use the stylus -.- it’s a normal capacitive touch-screen… at least Samsung give you the stylus option.

While I’ll have no reservations about holding this phone to my ear, it’ll be my Jawbone ear piece that will be doing most of the phonecalls…which I expect will be about 1% of my usage time. I also wonder how many of the naysayers have ever tried fine line sketching with their fingers. Anyone who thinks there’s no market for a stylus is blind.

As someone said on another site, “I’d swim to China to get this thing.”

I.forgot to say I am super curious about.the size (twss) my 4.3″ smartphone seems to be exactly the wrong size… Maybe slightly larger is the way to go..

I owned and used the grandpappy of.super big.phones the Hitachi g1000… So I’m no.stranger to stupidly redonkulously large phones.. (I’ve owned just about every smartphone made up until the android explosion.)

Coming from a long history of palm and pocket pcs.. I do miss a stylus on rare occasions..

Unfortunely the flyer doesnt hold the stylus.. and this thing apparently has poor stylus resolution. (Having seen the engadget demo)

A stylus can be rendered obsolete with the right software… There are paint and.draw apps on iPad that use off-centered crosshairs that allow me to be ridiculously accurate and precise.. it might be patented which is why we dont see it on Android, or maybe I.haven’t found any decent stuff in.the market.. I’ve yet to be satisfied with the purchase of an android app that didn’t have a free demo.

I HAVE to use a Bluetooth headset because my phone is so uncomfortable, hot, and has a shitty ear speaker.. 3devo..

Plus.. at a retail price of $550… I really don’t want to sweat ear juice all over this thing..

The bt comes in handy sincethe phone is constantly on the charger as well.. I.just treat my bt like an itty bitty little phone always clipped to my shirt.. (refuse to be a bt douche with one always in my.ear..)

We just need a star trek style communicator badge speakerphone..

What they were supposed to learn is that if they want to sell these things that they need to release a WiFi only version first. And that no US carrier is going to allow the phone functions in the 7.7 to be used.
