The screen is not pentile (samsung has said it is the best screen they have ever made for a portable device, and after having the s2 and s3 I agree) This phone is great (although I hate calling it a phone as it is so much more) best assistant (google now) best video playback, best web browsing, great battery life (and its removable which gives added flexibility ) most storage of any mobile device. S pen functionality, awesome business integration (i would rather carry this around then my work laptop (it actually is more productive)
Seriously if you can get beyond a phone that is like 1/2" bigger then other smartphones in width then get this device.
will get even better with the update bringing multi window to us versions.

Ooh can I be your girl?? My job as a note-taking hair stylist would be a lot easier with the specs on this baby! The camera I bet is outstanding but I've heard the apps are not much for the pen (and how do I not lose that pen??). I’d put it on AT&T’s 4G LTE network which gives me a really fast way to show clients hair styles with that beautiful resolution. Very nice. Get me one!!

I , like you, want it shorter but they should of just got rid of those side bezels to make it slimmer. PS. I thought they were going to have a megapixel screen, but they give us less

1080p would have been nice. Is this still pentile? If it's 720p non-pentile then that's somewhat of an improvement.

Of course, none of this matters if Verizon fails to carry it (again).

I disagree with the move to 16x9, but perhaps the user feedback they got was people could handle a bit more length (147 to 151) but wanted to be able to hold a narrower profile (83 to 81). The width of the screen (71 to 69) has decreased even though the diagonal increased. Not much I know, but I want the biggest possible on screen keyboard in portrait orientation. I also find the 16x10 ratio more pleasing to look at and it is a popular resolution among tablets.

If it were me, I'd have stuck with 16x10 and shortened the length to 144 while widening it to 88 and putting the biggest screen I could fit (5.75 will fit with 5 and 10 mm bezels, drop this as needed). With a big screen, the jump to 1920x1200 whenever technology allows would be welcome.
