Samsung has announced the addition of new colors to the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone line. The smartphone was originally available in black, white, and pink colors. The expanded color options now include three more colors to choose from.
The new colors include merlot, rose gold with white accents, and rose gold with black accents. Samsung says that the rose gold colors of the Note 3 are designed to complement the rose gold Galaxy Gear smartwatch, which we reviewed back in October. Other than the new colors on the outside, the new versions of the Galaxy Note 3 are the same as the old.
The smartphone has a 5.7-inch full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The smartphone runs the Android 4.3 operating system. The rear camera has a resolution of 13MP and features autofocus, LED flash, and smart stabilization. The rear camera can also record full HD video.
The front camera of the smartphone is a 2MP unit. One of the key features of the Galaxy Note 3 is the S Pen that allows users to write directly on the screen of the smartphone. The Galaxy Note 3 also has integrated WiFi, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and IR remote control functionality. The phone can be had with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.
