Even though the processor is 1.2GHZ instead of the rumored 1.5 and there seems to be no built in memory (relying solely on MSD cards), This is one impressive beast. I for one will be getting one as soon as they are out.

Now if only Google can keep Verizon from emblazing its logo all over the front of the phone.

Having owned a GS2 since end of april, i would have to completely disagree with you there. Most of the demo was for ICS and there was nothing outside of software that really caught my eye.

Also the phone has a HD Super AMOLED not plus and that’s already announced for GS2 HD LTE. So tell me outside of ICS features, what was impressive about it? In fact for all we know, exynos is quite a bit quicker and mali implementation is much more powerful than the PowerVR setup included with OMAP

Dude, I don’t know what they’re talking about myself. No physical home row of menu buttons is nothing new and has been a concept that many if not most phones employ today, like the iPhone, Bionic, GSII, etc. The only phones I can think of that still have physical home menu buttons are the Droid X and Samsung Charge off the top of my head. I’m sure they’re might be more but I can’t think of them right now. The only thing I percieve to be different with this is the home menu buttons are entirely embedded into the software in which they operate a little differently like being able to change directions with the phones accelerometer for instance, which is actually really cool so you shouldn’t complain.

This phone has a 4.65″ 720p HD Super AMOLED Plus screen, 1.2 GHZ processor, 1 GB ram, all new ICS UI, NFC to use Android Beam, Face Unlock, completely redesigned camera interface with zero shutter lag, on and on, yet it’s not good enough for you people, it’s not groundbreaking…………………………………………………………..What EXACTLY is groundbreaking for you people now????? 5 inch 1080p HD Super Super Super AMOLED+++ screen, 5 ghz quadcore processor, not one preloaded app, 10 gb ram, 100 gb of internal storage with expandable flash up to 1000 gb, Blue Ray player, free netflix for life, NFC, microwave, refrigerator, stove, toilet……………..WHAT THE HELL DO YOU PEOPLE WANT????

If you guys think about it, the Nexus devices were never groundbreaking. The Nexus One and Nexus S were pretty run-of-the-mill when they came out. They didn’t have particularly high specs, but just demonstrated Google’s vanilla vision of their new OS in current, quality hardware. I think the rumors had people’s expectations too high, like with the iPhone 4S.
