I LOVE my new Focus! Added 8GB Kingston microSD card with no problems. Showing 14.6 total storage. So far, works perfectly. Had it 2 weeks. The only complaint I have is that the battery doesn’t seem to last nearly as long as my old Jack’s did. Haven’t yet looked, but hope there is an extended-life battery out there.

Inserted the card even before I booted the Samsung Focus for the very first time, going through the camera button/volume down/power on button combination to format the card. It merged card flawlessly, showing a total of 36.9 GB of memory in the “about” section. I’ve turned phone off and on multiple times since then, and also have added 12 GB of data (music/videos). So far, so good. I understand that at any time it could crash, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Phone starts to stutter after loading over 8gb of music.
Before i had Adata 16gb class 6. With this card, it actually didn’t stutter. But once i reset the phone, I was screwed.

My guess is that MS will quickly patch whatever code is blowing chunks whenever the card cannot keep up.

IF a ‘consumer’ goes to Costco (in the US) and buys a ‘standard’ microSD card, plugs it into their phone; it doesn’t work; so they just take it back: Both the SD card and the device which DOESN’T WORK the way it’s been mass-marketed, you have violated the hardest law of marketing – worldwide.

This law speaks about trying to teach a pig to sing… two things usually result as a part of this exercise… 1) You get real dirty in the pig’s stye as you’re trying to get set up to start the exercise, and 2) It REALLY pisses the pig off..

Watch your unit volume CRATER as a result of this level of consumer treatment stupidity…
