  They tried to, but it turns out no other company can replicate the quality and technological prowess that only Samsung can offer. That’s why even with all their lawsuits, Apple is still forced to use Samsung components.

Are you calling the countless owners of the GS2 liars when they say they dropped their phones face down from at least 3 ft up and it didn’t break? I’ve dropped mine on concrete at least 4 times, once while running, and the screen still has no scratches or cracks, and the body hardly has any visible scratches either.

Because if you really think they are lying, there are videos on Youtube that prove it.

You can’t say the same for brittle Apple products though.

From the amount of MB’s I see going to the Genius Bar for failed components, the amount of iPhones going to the Genius Bar from being dropped, I would have to say that Apple products don’t last near as long as Samsung.

My friend has dropped this Galaxy Nexus multiple times and the only thing it has is a few scratches.  Can’t say that about my iPhone toting friends.

I had a samsung dumbphone.  It was drop countless of times on concrete and still works fine.  And the best part, no broken display or body.  Still in one piece.  Can’t say that of any of my iPhone 4 toting friends. 

Samsung is probably denying it because they are just too embarrassed about it (and their recent ads) backfiring, and making them look petty and immature. ;-)

I never said Apple didn’t make great products, nor did I say they didn’t revolutionize the industry. I stated Apple does not innovate much, or at least nothing remotely close to what people like you believe. Apple’s slick and grandiose marketing, good design, and solid products are all what made them so successful, but it is primarily the delusional marketing claims from Apple that blind most consumers into flocking to them. But popularity has nothing to do with innovation, which was my point to begin with.

I also didn’t say Samsung doesn’t follow the market. Apple is certainly the market leader, but again that doesn’t make Apple innovative. That makes Apple a savvy business and marketer. The real innovators are the ones who developed touch technology, the display technology, the chips, the antennas, etc. None of which Apple does in any meaningful way. Samsung may not have had the marketing or design savvy to beat Apple to the punch, but Apple would not and could not even exist without innovators like Samsung.

You must live in some fairy land with fairy logic and fairy facts.

There is a lot more to Apple and Apple products and Apple’s success than slick marketing. You’re the one that is delusional. At the end of the day, if Apple’s products did not deliver on their marketing promise, why do people keep going back to the well? People that buy Apple products are smart, savvy users who know that the combination of iOS, iTunes, iPhone and iPad is far and away the best combination of product design, innovation, and app and entertainment ecosystem on the planet bar none. So dream on pal.

I know dozens of people who broke their iPhone and iPad from a single drop 1 year into their purchase.

Samsung on the other hand make durable products.

If you bring up examples of Samsung’s products that don’t last as long, then you’re talking about their low end market. That’s not a comparison you can correctly make. You need to compare Samsung’s high end with Apple’s high end. And when you do, Samsung’s products last a hell of a lot longer than Apple’s.

Apple is better at marketing and designing than innovating. Nearly all of Apple’s tech is externally obtained. Apple spends a pittance on R&D compared to real tech companies, and their chest of patents are almost meager. Apple is a marketing company disguised as a tech company. That’s their soul. There’s no real innovation there. Only reality distortion fields, as is all of marketing. But nothing holds a candle to Apple’s delusional claims.

You would fail a SAT logic test. The word “whereas” signals a contrasting idea from previous lines. You said the exact same thing as Crysiz but just replaced Apple with Samsung. You make no sense, since Apple is doing what is legally allowed (going sue happy on vague patents that never should have been awarded) but is obviously morally reprehensible.

When has that ever been true? Stealing has never been OK legally. You should look to all the court decisions that have thrown out almost all of Apple’s claims against Samsung, which show Apple has a much weaker case than Apple makes it appear to be to sheep who can’t think for themselves. Apple knows their patents are weak which is why they won’t even dare to bring a lot of them to court in fear of getting them invalidated.

You’re contradicting yourself. If you like to reward innovation, then why do you choose Apple, since they’re not the ones who innovate? All they did was either buy someone else’s patents or receive patents for extremely vague and broad ideas that never should have been awarded. There’s no denying Apple is a trend setter, but that does not mean they innovated anything.

You seem to hold a double standard and let Apple off the hook for the very things you claim Samsung is doing.

I love how Apple started to use the Galaxy metaphor with their products on their website and as their wall paper and then all of the suddenly Samsung comes out with Galaxy S 6 months later.  Give it a break Sammy, be happy someone is giving you ideas to run with.  You noticed, Motorola and the rest of the Android crowd came out with their own “space/galaxy” metaphors half year after Apple did.

At your age you should have grasped the fact that claims a useless without sources!

Have you ever been to GCT or even seen it in a movie?  It’s been a pretty busy place for literally 100 years, long before Apple opened shop on the UPPER LEVEL of the main concourse six months ago.
