@ Teche21

Wow you really are denser than I even thought before.

"If Samsung is not attacking real, genuine artists and creatives in those
ads"

Please ask anyone in the world if Samsung is doing that and come back to me. Nobody in this world attacks GENUINE artists. I don't even think you've seen the previous commercials that led up to the most recent one. In the first ad, the barista was a pretentious phony, and it's a running joke.

"then you need a basic literature analysis course before actually
taking the tests"

What a really weak comeback there. I was so insulted.

"And what I meant in my comment that you didn't understand because of your lack of education"

OOOO, another clever insult!

"is that Apple didn't directly point out PC users but used the device/computers as target."

I know what you meant. And it means you're an ignoramus.

Samsung should come out with an ad with a proud iphone user crapping on about how his phone is so good compared to Samsung, and then a Samsung jeanie should appear and say, ok lets take away Samsung, and have the ifan look down at his phone and sees his iphone is now just a block of glass. Jeanie laughs out loud, no Sammy no screen fool.

You would fail a basic literature analysis course in college. Do you need things to be spelled out explicitly to understand the underlying message?

Apple never explicitly, in words, said PC people were dumb. But Apple sure did go out of their way to select the person representing the PC to look old, ugly, dumb, fat, and awkward so that anyone using it or associated with it would feel dumb and uncool. While on the other hand representing Apple with a young, likeable character. You don't need to use words to attack people.

And once again, Samsung is not attacking real, genuine artists and creatives. Not only do you fail at analysis, you fail at basic comprehension. Samsung is attacking the fake, pretentious douches that most Apple users appear to be.

In those ads Apple wasn't pointing at a group of customers, rather they were pointing out a device/computer "PC". Samsung is directly pointing to a group of creative people and artists in every ad. In not a single ad Apple said PC buyers are dumb, similarly Microsoft ads aiming at Apple that showed that PCs are cheaper to buy never pointed at Mac users. So both those ads were just trying to point out advantages they offered rather than insult customers.

Did you like it when Apple was making fun of a customer group in their I'm a PC commercials?

You better not buy any Apple products if you don't want to be a hypocrite then.

And when was Samsung making fun of struggling artists? They were making fun of fake "creatives".

I was planning to by Galaxy Nexus, but after seeing these ads I decided not to. Yes, I am a struggling artist.
Right, I mean it must be Apple's products all by themselves that engendered these emotions, not the BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars they invested in commercials and product placements to brainwash iSheep like you into thinking you yourself came up with the idea that Apple is "awesome".

No other tech company spends as much money as Apple in advertising.

Plus I loved my Galaxy S2 when I bought it 3 months ago, way before these commercials came out. I still love it to this day.

I doubt very much if the Samsung ads will change many minds when the purchase is made. These ads will, however, make those who have already purchased Samsung phones (or is it just the Galaxy models?) feel better about their decision. There's nothing wrong with that. It's always good to have your customers feeling good about their purchases. It's just a shame that the product itself cannot engender these emotions.
