Um, the Nokia phones are selling well. The Lumia 700s are among the best-selling phones on T-Mobile. And the newly released Nokia 900 is the best-selling phone on Amazon right now (the black is #1 & the cyan is #2).Hopefully, Microsoft & Nokia can build on this momentum… and then really gain some traction with Windows Phone 8 Apollo.
I currently have a Samsung Focus S and absolutely love it. It’s so light & slim, but with a big screen. It’s perfect… although, once Windows Phone 8 launches, I’ll probably be in the market for a new Windows Phone. Not sure which brand I’ll choose though.

People know Samsung now just like people knew Nokia back in the 90′s. So its fair to say a Samsung phone could potentially fair better than a Nokia phone. Regardless of the operating system it runs.

Good luck Samsung. Nokia is not stranger to the cell phone game and they are not fairing well with WP…But in the U.S. Samsung has good market share, maybe they can capitalize on first time buyers of cell phones, the market that Nokia targeted but is failing to really get a hold of.
