Samsung is not working with the latest android technology. All the phones released by Samsung are totally too late on the smartphones Industry. Nokia has already overtaken the race from Apple and Samsung. There has been no reports on any type of issues on the Nokia Lumia. it can also be otherwise utilized as a official phone, now say bye bye to your Laptop. Samsung’s OS and smartphones can be nicely reviewed and rated with the latest OS ice cream, sandwich release. Users are complaining for not getting their update, even the tablet series users are cannot receive this update. No one does like this. when there is any OS update almost the premium device users should be made available the updates.
Samsung’s technical point of competition is too worse or too bad, The customer orientation is something that we should learn from Nokia.

But it was still built to work with those buttons. You don’t lose the hard functionality, you just don’t get soft (on-screen) navigation buttons. Besides, ICS will likely run quite a bit faster than Gingerbread, and at the least it will be smoother with better transitions.

First they say no ICS, now they said they are considering, whats next tomorrow? Are they going to say that after reviewing, they still find that it is not possible for ICS to roll in due to their crippled TouchWiz? let’s face it, TW is developed by Samsung, and if they can’t solve their problem to let ICS work, I would think they won’t even fit to be a mobile phone manufacturer at all. What a shame!

There are some 3rd party developers already managed to get ICS work on SGS. So what does it mean by this? Samsung developers Sux? Samsung developers are lazy to find a solution? Or Samsung just simply do not care as SGS is no longer in production?

When I switch over to SGS from my iphone 3G, this phone was said to be an iphone killer. I now understand how iphone die, iphone simply laugh to death.

Contracts are too expensive here in New Zealand. Cheapest 50 dollars plan here only gives you, 100 minutes, 2500 txts and 250MB of data. 45 dollar with T-mobile will almost give you everything unlimited

The newer Tabs, i.e. the 10.1, 8.8 and 7.7 were never under doubt about the ICS update. Those have been confirmed to get ICS soon. The Tab in question is the original 7″ Galaxy Tab that came out last year.

By today’s standards they are upper mid range devices but so is the iPhone 4. No one seems to complain about that! Anyway, the Galaxy S is basically a Nexus S and still is a very good device with more than 10 million still using one or the other variant of it. A lot of those people bought these devices in the last 12 months, so to leave all those people without an update (citing ridiculous reasons) is a very stupid thing to do.

Not everyone buys a phone on contract. People, outside of the US, still buy SIM free phones and in HUGE numbers. Millions have bought the Galaxy S and its variants within the last 12 months. So, to leave those millions in the cold is not a very smart or just thing to do.

My Galaxy Tab 2.3 update runs FAST (way faster than the 2.2 update, which was slow), and if Samsung can’t make 4.0 run FAST, then I don’t want it. The Tab also has their own navigation buttons, and Ice Cream Sandwich was built without those buttons in mind. I’m perfectly happy with Gingerbread on my tab, and frankly I’d like to keep it that way.

This is exactly the same thing that happened to the HTC Desire, it wasn’t going to get Gingerbread then the customers made a fuss and they changed their minds. I have a Galaxy S Mesmerize running Gingerbread and I love it the way it is. I get to upgrade every 18 months with no contract (Seriously check out US Cellular they’re awesome) so when the GSII is available on my carrier I’ll get one of those and I’ll get ICS on that, I’m not worried. Samsung has been really great about updating the original Galaxy S from 2.1 to 2.2 to 2.3

how is this being lazy when reputable devs have confirmed that there isn’t much space left after the pre-ICS updates so far on Galaxy S models? Also SGS was updated from 2.1 -> 2.2 -> 2.3
