Finally a Windows 7 machine with gorgeous hardware. I wish it came with a larger SSD, but I’m still going to make this my next machine.

1366×768 again… I’d expected a better screen resolution for a laptop in this price range. 768 pixels, that’s at least 15 years ago! Makes me think of Lenovo, releasing a premium laptop with a sub-par display in it.

It’s great to see other manufacturers stepping up their laptop game though! I hope they can do a regular 13 or 14 inch and up with these quality materials and an integrated blu ray drive to really drive some competition against the other MacBooks this year.

I agree with the other comments that the price is too high. When Apple refreshes their 13″ MacBook Air with Sandy Bridge this spring, it won’t be so expensive… Drop the price by $300-400 and let’s have a real competition.

Well, +- $250/350 is good for that performance what it will offer. $1,599 is like a good alienware laptop. The only thing, it’s thin and that is perfect but the price is ridiculous.

Why use discrete graphics in a ultraportable computer? Integrated is fine, less wasted watts.
Price is 300 too high, but its not like it has real *up-to-date* competition on this segment.

I wouldn’t mind seeing this with better graphics, but honestly it’s fine for what I’d use an ultraportable to do.

What I’d really like to see is about $300 off that price tag…oh hell make it $600 haha.
