Samsung 9 Series LCD TVs info leaks

In case you've been curious about the upcoming Samsung 9 Series LCD TVs, you're in luck. Some new information has apparently leaked out about the new sets that are lined up to taken over the A950 slot in Samsung's offering collection.

Supposedly, the new TVs are going to have a B9000 naming system. They will also feature LED backlighting and dimming, which makes for improved contrast. This will replace the edge lighting seen on some other models.

They will likely be a part of the Touch of Color line and feature wireless connectivity with the option to access Yahoo Widgets and YouTube on your TV. DLNA support is also included. The 9 Series will only include two models at first, measuring in at 46 and 55 inches each. You can expect them to be released later this year, though no official release date or pricing is known yet.
