Samsung makes some great T.V's but when you go shopping consider the plasma option. Both Samsung and Panasonic have amongst the best black levels with their top end plasma sets and you can't beat the price. The newest plasma tech has come a long way. If power consumtion is not a concern ($60 pr year plasma vs $15 pr year led) then plasma is still the best bang for your buck in terms of picture quality.
