Samsung’s 1.98-inch VGA Screen for Cellphones

Samsung’s new 1.98-inch LCD is amazing because there are now 400ppi, which is even better than a 40-inch HDTV with only 40ppi!  The screen’s viewing angle is 75 degrees and has a viewing angle of 300:1.  The new LCD uses Samsung’s proprietary ASG (Amorphous Silicon Gate) technology.  Higher ppi will definitely make things seem a lot crisper, but reading text may be a little difficult if the font isn’t increased.
