Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell trailer, detailed in full

A new "standalone expansion" to the Saints Row series has been revealed during PAX Prime 2014. This game will have the Saints attempting to rescue their lost boss in the pits of Hell. The President of the United States of America, you, are in Hell. but you won’t be playing as you, you’ll be playing as Kinsey or Johnny Gat.

This game will include 2-player co-op mode where one player works with Johnny Gat, the other works with Kinsey. How the game will play compared to previous expansions - we do not yet know.

UPDATE: This game will be out for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.

What we do know is that down in the pits of Hell, you’ll be rolling through with wings. Demonic wings. You’ll have "superhuman" powers, but not the same as you had in Saints Row IV. This time it’s evil.

Hell will be about half as big as Steelport in the past. Superpowers include a gun firing plagues of frogs, another that fires plagues of locusts, and weapons that represent the seven deadly sins.

Sloth will be represented by a chair. This char will have rockets, machine guns, and more devil-massacring machinery than you can handle.

UPDATE 2: Shots from the trailer - it's not yet known if these are gameplay, from PS4, PC, or made with magical fairy dust. Just look and chill.

Volition have made clear that they’ll be bringing on this "expansion" on January 27th, 2015, for a cool $19.95. It’s not a "full" game, but it’s also not just a DLC. It’s stand-alone and full of furious anger. And fire - lots of fire.
