It does support digitizer pens, I have the consumer preview as well installed on my tablet pc and it works great.

For one, iOS is not licensed. For two, Android may have seen it’s best days. Once Apple starts collecting their estimated $10 licensing fee per device (like MS does) it will make Android the most expensive alternative which will drive manufactures to Windows for cost savings.

The more I use 8 CP the more I like it.
Simply click the mouse wheel to see and quickly pick a running program/app.
Windows key brings you back to tiled interface.
Windows key+i brings up control panel/shutdown-restart-logoff is here.
There is really NO NEED to mouse to the corners , though that is very easy too.
Right-click tiled screen and click “all apps” All programs/apps are nicely laid out and categorized such as “accessories” , etc.
Windows key+D instantly brings you to desktop , with full classic 7 functionality.
The touch keyboard offers a myriad of functions not seen on the iPad.
Am sure it will support digitizer pens too as “math input panel” and “touch keyboard” both let me write with a mouse !

Microsoft is just too late in the game for this, Android and IOS products dominant this market.

I tried the Consumers Preview for Windows 8 on my Desktop computer and I did not like it. Simple fact, it will not adorn my computers. Windows 7 is fine for me.
