So you decided that for whatever reason, the iPhone just isn’t for you. You’re not alone, many people (myself included) decided not to get one. For those of you that still long for for a touchscreen iPod without hacking a $500 iPhone, you may need only wait until January.

6G iPod

January is when the 6th Gen iPod is rumored to be hitting shelves. It is expected to have a full touchscreen while running a version of OSX and even including iPhone-like features. Though I doubt we’d see it, I think it would be awesome if it allowed for internet access via WiFi.

While the iPhone might not be able to satisfy all of my needs, I wouldn’t mind getting a new iPod with similar features. I love playing with the touchscreen on the iPhone, and the screen is beautiful. Give me an iPod with those features and a bigger hard drive and I’ll be plenty happy.
