Rumor tips Droid Razr specs are better than iPhone 4S

Motorola's phones were tanking on the market after the Razr flip phone years ago was so popular. The company hadn't had a really desirable phone until it embraced Android and started anew in popularity. Motorola is now set to revive that Razr name with a new smartphone dubbed the Droid Razr. A new rumor has surfaced with a tipster claiming that the Droid Razr will be a phone to watch.

In fact that tipster claims that the hardware inside is faster than the iPhone 4S. The smartphone is expected to go official on October 18, but the tip sheds light on the hardware ahead of that launch. The unverified tip claims the smartphone will run a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and has 1GB of RAM. The iPhone 4S has 512MB of RAM.

The screen is said to be a 4.3-inch unit similar to the qHD offering on the Droid X2 and Bionic. The smartphone will also apparently support LTE 4G connectivity and is said to be the thinnest LTE smartphone to date. Other rumors point to the Droid Razr being in Verizon stores right now.
