LMFAO @ Xbox 360 owners Microsoft can't compete with Sony or Nintendo. Sony got the PlayStation 1 for classic PSN games Nintendo got the N64 and the rest of the crap Microsoft got nothing to show for that's why they bringing the original Xbox games to Live what a ripoff. GoldenEye will never be on Xbox Live maybe on the PLAYSTATION Network since both companies are Japanese and use to be friend long time ago...
Well, that can't happen as Microsoft owns Rare and they probably have MORE right to put their foot down than Nintendo. Apparently Microsoft was willing to allow Nintendo to release it on their Virtual Console too but Nintendo wanted too large a proportion of each download where Microsoft didn't want to concede more than a lump sump up front...
It doesn't matter that Nintendo sold their share of Rare to MS, they still own the copyright.

The only thing holding Nintnedo back from releasing it on VC, is that they currently do not have the right to distribute it to any other platform besides the N64.
Maybe he's hoping to get it released on the VC (something I'd prefer given I don't have a 360 but do own a Wii!)..?
