I am posting this as a rumor, even though someone has apparently held the controller in their hands and used it, because there hasn’t been an official announcement or any further confirmation, although that is apparently due some time tomorrow. Apparently EA slipped up and let someone play Burnout Paradise with the new controller at their pre-show media event.

The controller apparently had a “heftier feel” to it and a giant sticker that said rumble on it. So those of you that were missing the rumble feature on your new PS3 controllers might finally get your prayers answered for an official SIXAXIS with rumble capabilities.

The official announcement is supposed to come tomorrow during Kaz Hirai’s keynote. Only time will tell if it really was a rumble controller, so until tomorrow, lets speculate how much it will cost and whether they will be packaging them with new consoles.
