If you’re still excited about the Palm Foleo, you’ll be happy to hear that according to rumor, we’ll see it released by the end of August.
The exact date is rumored to be August 22, so mark that day on your calender. Not that you’ll probably actually be purchasing one, but it’s nice to know when things come out. The Foleo will be sold on Palm’s website, as well as through corporate retail channels.
I really had some high hopes for this little guy, but honestly for the $600 price, I would expect to get much more out of it. I’d rather spend $250 and get myself an Asus Eee PC.

It looks like a nice product, but I like that sexy UMPC next to it. Oh wait, that’s MY UMPC….it’s Samantha the Samsung Q1P! ;)

I’m totally excited. I will be able to do 80% of my computing on this device. I am eyeing this device over the eee and similar models primarily because of the lack of hard-drive and the instant on. I also like the idea of using less computing power; less heat, less complication, and getting off the path of always having to upgrade my hardware to take advantage of my upgraded software ad infinitum.
It’s like choosing to buy a compact car because that fits your lifestyle better.
