It’s no small secret that Grand Theft Auto IV is gearing up to be one of the biggest game launches of the year, and perhaps one of the biggest to date. So it’s not really a surprise that before the game even comes out people are talking about future DLC. One of the biggest rumors is that they will release an entirely new city in the future.
This rumor comes from a special edition issue of Future Publishing magazine. They describe the DLC for the Xbox 360 to be on par with the likes of Vice City or San Andreas. While technically those games could be described as expansions for GTA III, I couldn’t imagine that much gameplay being packed into downloadable content.
What’s more is that they are describing an entirely new city being in the works, again, similar to Vice City or San Andreas. The emphasis is on “new,” so it wouldn’t simply be a rehash of on of the previously-seen cities. If this turns out to be true, then the Xbox 360 version is definitely the one to pick up.
