I’ll admit, I’m one of those crazy people that decided against getting the iPhone. I know, what kind of tech enthusiast am I? Well, for those of you that have one, or are thinking about it, I’ve got big news for you. The iPhone has been officially unlocked.
The guys over on Bladox forums have posted the complete instructions for hacking your iPhone to work on most networks using a blank TurboSIM card. Reports indicate that they have been able to make both incoming and outgoing calls as well as EDGE access and SMS messaging.
You’ll need to get yourself a TurboSIM from Bladox for around $80. You’ll use it for the initial setup, then any carrier’s SIM should work. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any actual footage of this hack working, so for now we’re going to put this one under rumor. If any of you manage to crack your phone using this method, shoot some video and send it in.

This is great cause it opens the market to other providers to have competition so its lower prices for the consumers. I don’t like AT&T cause they could care less about americans privacy.
