If you live in Germany and are looking forward to the iPhone, then chances are you don’t read a tech news site that’s written in English. However, if you do, then you’ll be happy to know that according to reports, the iPhone will in fact be showing up in your country.

Deutsche Telekom

The rumors indicate that T-Mobile will be the exclusive iPhone carrier in Germany, and that they will be releasing it for around 450 euros (that’s $615 over here). Though we’re not sure if that is for the 4GB or 8GB model.

This is still speculation though, as neither T-Mobile nor Apple has stepped forward to confirm the news.

I am german, reading this news site, and indeed happy if t-online gets the iPhone over here. I do hope that we get a 3G version at release, though.

I am also German and reading this site, and I don’t care what carrier gets the iPhone because they all have way overpriced data plans. And Halcy, we HAVE to get a 3G version because there is no German EDGE network and putting a GPRS modem into the iPhone over HSDPA/UMTS would be plain silly.

Fabian: I know, but since they also used EDGE over 3G in the USA, who knows :P Also, I shall seize this opportunity to correct a typo: t-online = t-mobile.
