Roku lands short form Disney video streaming rights

With several different video streaming firms plying their wares on the streaming video market today they are all out to lure customers in with all the streaming content they firms can get hands on. One of the popular streaming services is Roku and the company has announced that it secured the rights to stream short form Disney videos to viewers.

That means you won't get the full-length films to stream, but shorter cartoon length vids will be offered with popular Disney characters. The videos will include Winnie the Pooh, Lightning McQueen, the Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomes, and AllStar Weekend among others. Roku says that it is the first firm to offer the short form videos for streaming.

Exactly how many videos the service will offer from Disney is unknown. The videos come from Disney.com and the library is described as extensive. If you use Roku, let us know how extensive the library is. This should be good news for parents with children that love Disney content. You will need a Roku device to stream the videos naturally.
