well i bought acer liquid phone and my 3 yr contract is over i want to know if unlocked can i use it on windmobile

bought the phone about 2 weeks ago, i have found one big bug about it, it locks up when i have 1 to 2 bars on edge(2g) a question mark on the battier and the display back light stays on.( this is a code loop that is gets stuck on) i have to pull the battier and turn the phone back on but work great on hspa and 3g, videos, music and net works great. very fast to respond but also find to much task running all the time in the background and eating up memory. has 512mb internal memory is all i think i really need, had an iphone 8g and never did fill it up so a bigger micro sd card will do fine. i would suggest this phone only if u dont wanna spend alot of money on it and Acer is a really shitty brand i have seen more dead laptops from them in one yr then any other company out there so im hoping that this has a little bit better quality then there other computer junk they sell. the txt program they have doesnt give the received txt the correct time and puts it up top it would be 4 hrs plus time difference when it should be 5 mins beside those two issues better luck next time buy a samsung galaxy s or something closer to that standered of a phone htc desire as well is a good one too. cross my finger for Froyo 2.2 this fall oct i have read maybe those issues will be fixed.

There is one more flaw with this phone; a fatal flaw I think. Acer has decided not to register the phone with the android marketplace so there are a ton of apps (any app that’s protected) that is not available for the phone. It’s very frustrating have an android phone that can’t run android apps. I wrote a bit about my experience at http://blog.noblemail.ca/2010/07/android-acer-liquid-e-from-rogers.html

I have a liquid e and got the voice apk. Which enables voice search. I was disappointed too but now my e has voice search and i also got better keyboard with a voice field included. I also have google navigation. the e will be getting 2.2 froyo before the end of the year.

The only dislike I have is the lack of Voice Search.
