This is a triumph. Somehow the crazy cats at Harmonix have not only managed to get “Still Alive” from Portal into the game this week, but they’re throwing us a curve ball and releasing it for free.

Free? Oh, that’s right, April Fool’s and all of that, right? Nope, it’s all legit. Perhaps they’ve decided to take the high road this year and instead of pranking people, they’re hooking them up with free tunes.

I have another theory though. The song is so awesome, that they are compelled to do everything in their power to get it into every single person’s house. It’s like trying to take over the world, only so much cooler.
