Yesterday we announced that Mötley Crüe was releasing a brand-new single as a downloadable track for Rock Band. That was awesome to hear, however, Harmonix has announced that they are going one step further by joining the band on tour.

Motley Crue

Starting July 1st  Mötley Crüe will be hitting the road on a 40-city summer tour with the likes of Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx: A.M. and Trapt. They are calling this tour Crüe Fest. Much like what was done with Korn and the Family Values tour last year with Guitar Hero II, you’ll be able to rock out with your favorite instrument for a chance to play between sets on stage.

You can bet that I’ll be heading to the show when it comes to Indiana later this year, as it sounds like an awesome time.
