Four words: Underwater Vehicle, Ooh Yeah! James Bond does us proud. Who hasn’t watched the shows and wish his gadgets could be our own? Rinspeed did and they sought an auto that could drive underwater.
Rinspeed’s car is road worthy (as it should be! If it weren’t it’d just be a car shaped submarine!) but with just a push of a button is transforms into an ocean diving vehicle that can be driven to a depth of 33 feet. It has an electric motor with powerful torque to drive the rear wheels and two powerful propellers in the stern and two jets in the bow.
The car will be shown in the Geneva Motor Shower March 6th-16th. Don’t get your hopes up though, it probably won’t be on a production line for some time.
