I have been a loyal Blackberry user for years but it’s getting harder to stay loyal. All my friends are now with iphones or some type of android. I don’t get to enjoy the games they play together or watch the movies they watch on their phones. I’m left behind on browsing due to the swirly thing, buffering or it just freezes. I do kick ass in emailing… -_- I feel I can’t do anything with a BBERRY. Then when there’s some hope, it’s this ugly phone. Looks like I really need to just move on. I tried but I want to have (FAST) fun on my phone like the rest of my friends.

Could care less what the phone looks like (personally I still like the Bold. That keyboard was perfect). I’m more concerned with the OS. I don’t think I can wait until next year.

i would not worry too much about that, battery technology has reached a critical point for smartphones. to support better processors they have to be big or the tech has to go one step up which is a few years away atleast. what they need to do is get a complete product without bugs. with iphone 4 facing battery issues it is sure apple is out of competition for the time being nice window for rim to get back in.

RIM have problem in its enterprise culture and outdated management, looks big, but old before really grow up.

Years before, companies make money from feature phone, it give RIM chance to make money without competition, but when they want make money in smart-phone market, they win easily, why, is that because they hired supper employees, no, RIM also have excellent employees from all over the world.

low efficient and slow motion speed, when the others come, RIM always play catch-up. what will happen if the others want the enterprise cake.

Despite a good OS, the hardware specs will make this phone so outdated by June of next year, when many other Android phones will be featuring quadcore processors and Super HD displays.

Curious about the Operating System itself. I know it’s become the norm with today’s reviews written by technology neophytes to focus on the looks of a device and even the spend 2,000 words describing the color or gloss… but would love to read more about the internals of the OS. The filesystem, how it handles multitasking, installing/uninstalling apps, security, permissions, app portability, backup, drivers, processes and what they do, does it scale, large and small screen support, etc…

Let’s start to see more technical articles, Slashgear. It’ll gives us a better idea of how an OS will grow or whether it needs to be rewritten at the core level for obvious/standard needs.

Love the look of it. Wish the bezel was a bit smaller but I guess they need it since the UI is swipe based. Swipe gesture works great on the PlayBook. Can’t wait for this thing.
