HP kept telling people that it was a mature rock-solid OS, and it was. However their competitors blew past them by adding the bells and whistles that “wow” buyers. Given the emergence of Android, and its built-in Google communication tools, RIM has to look past conservative evolution and embrace change if it is to hold onto its position.
