Fresh off an out of court settlement with Samsung, because the name ‘Blackjack’ was too similar to ‘BlackBerry.’ RIM is at it again. This time it’s the unassuming, South Korean company, LG.

Research in Motion is suing LG claiming the names ‘Black Label’, ‘Strawberry’ and ‘Black Cherry’, infringe on the BlackBerry name. Next thing you know they’ll be suing Sharp because the Sidekick receives emails, sends messages , and has a trackball.
Come on RIM, quit being a bully. I’m sure there are more important things to do. Maybe design a new phone, instead of refreshing two year old models?

WTF? This sounds like a bunch a school kids arguing over trivial playground antics. I thought RIM infringed on a patent and had their service suspended briefly. If what I remember is true, sounds like they don’t pratice what they preach.
So true!
