dude, it’s just a tablet… how much rez do you want in fact? I have 1280/1024 rez on my desktop as a matter of fact, and a monitor considerably larger than the 10” of this tablet, and it’s quite enough for me. and I’m a visual artist btw.

Quad core CPU, Mali 604 GPU, updated Touchwiz with ICS that doesn’t look as intrusive, and biggest of all stylus apps + a pressure sensitive digitizer pen and optimized software. If this comes out at $500 or less it will definitely be worth it. The other features are enough to make up for the somewhat disappointing resolution.

I’m not too miffed about the screen res. I am extremely happy about the quad CPU and pen bay.
The bottom line is not the specs but whether the tablet can do what people will buy it for.
The key to this is responsiveness and ample memory for large canvases.

it is so disappointing to hear a resolution of
1280×800 . I don’t know about the rest of you all but when I first saw this i was excited. but then I see the resolution, I lost my excitement and interest in this tablet.

They’ve got the gear to put up a tablet to go against Apple but they don’t. Maybe they have an arrangement going with Apple that we don’t know about

I know. It’s this “make everything and see what sticks” mentality they seem to have with tablets. By the time they work out “what sticks” they are right back behind the curve again and Apple has brought out something they again need to beat rather than setting the standard themselves.

Its like Samsung isn’t real serious about its tablets. Stupid really. They make the iPad screen, but they don’t want to match it. Dual core and 1gb ram. They out do it with their phones.

Don’t really understand the boost in power without increase in screen resolution. Bit of a missed opportunity, I think – real pity as this was the tablet I was holding out for…
