Remember that cool Flash Padlock USB drive we showed you from Corsair a while back? Well the guys over at Hot Hardware got their hands on one to test out. Here’s what they found.

Corsair flash padlock

One of the first things they noticed was that it was much larger than most USB drives that you find these days. The manual gave great instructions on how to set up the lock, and it was very simple to use and secure.

They were somewhat disappointed by its small storage capacity and slow data transfer. However, this drive isn’t meant to be the fastest, rather it’s meant to keep your data away from prying eyes, so unless it transfers at USB 1.1 speeds it’s forgivable.
