This is because RE5 is graphics intensive and Wii will not be able to handle it. Instead Capcom has announced Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles exclusively for Wii. RE:UC will feature Wii-controls and will more or less be a best-of compilation of the best levels of RE 1-4 all redone in RE 4 over-the-shoulder style.
Furthermore Capcom has apparently commented on the RE5 360 exclusivity rumours stating that they are not true and that RE5 will be coming to both 360 and PS3.
