RemoteScan unveils iPhone and iPad document scanning app

There are lots of reasons that you might need to get a document scanned into your iPhone or iPad. The catch is that you can't just plug a scanner into your iPhone or iPad like you can a notebook or desktop computer.RemoteScan has announced a new app for the iPhone and iPad that makes it easy to get documents like insurance cards and anything else scanned to the Apple devices. The software allows the iPhone or iPad to take control of a scanner attached to a PC.

The scanned documents can be sent directly to email or even document software like Pages. To use the app the computer scanner is attached to has to be running RemoteScan server software. The app for the iPhone and iPad is free on the App Store now.
