My house has a couple of rooms with no built-in lights, so I have to have lamps plugged into the wall. So when I walk into the room, I have to go clear to the other side before I can even turn on a light. It would be much easier to press a button as soon as I walk in.
These remote control outlets would be an ideal solution. I could just plug in my lamps to the adapters and put up a mount for the remote on the wall as I enter the room. There are probably other good uses like plugging in fans and such as well.
The price isn’t too bad, though for $20 I would hope to get more than one adapter. More can be picked up for $9.98 each.
