Release date set for Optimus Maximus

It seems that the highly anticipated (and priced) Optimus Maximus keyboard has finally gotten a release date.

The magic date is November 30, 2007. The price? $1564. (insert Shakespeare joke here) So the good news is that we’ve got a release date, and the bad news is it is still going to be expensive. It will cost more than most people pay for their entire system.

Unfortunately, the bad news doesn’t stop there. They are only going to have 200 units available at launch, another 200 in December, and 400 in January. As expensive as it is, I’m sure that they will sell these things like hotcakes. Check out the official blog later today as he is expected to let us know when they will be taking pre-orders.
