Realistic Virtua Fighter figures join the fight

On Monday, we showed you the new figure for Fallout 4. It's one of the most highly-detailed figures that I've seen for a video game. However, I've just had a peek at some figures from a different franchise, and boy do they look exactly like their in-game counterparts.

I remember playing Virtua Fighter for the first time at an arcade when I was a kid. Yeah, they still had those back then. It was amazing, because the characters were full 3D objects that could move around the ring in ways that I'd never seen. Sure, they were blocky, but that didn't matter to us back then. I mean, it was 1993 after all.

Well, thanks to Good Smile Company, you will soon be able to get your hands on completely realistic replicas of some of your favorite Virtua Fighters. Of course, "completely realistic" in a game like this is far different from say, the one for Fallout 4.

The blocky characters might be a turn-off to some people, but if you're a fan of the franchise, these $40 figures will be a great part of your collection. You can pre-order them now, though they won't ship until September.
