Spend countless hours on your computer and it just doesn’t want to cooperate? We’ve all wanted to smash our expensive monitors despite the price we paid for them. Well, now you have that chance and it won’t cost you much to release that inner stress after long hours of programming, reformatting, or whatever. The ScreenSmasher comes with a CD, a special whacking sensor that plugs up USB, and an 8″ foam axe. Just install, plug in the USB sensor on either side of your computer and it senses the foam axe and your intensity. When you swing towards your monitor it detects the foam axe and your screen will look as though it’s cracked and beyond repair. Continue and you will see even more destruction.

What a perfect way to relieve all that tension. This is the perfect gift for coworkers, your boss, students, and those who love computers. As seen in the above video, the glass-shattering effects look realistic to the average viewer and it looks even more stunning from a distance. The device is 100% safe and it’s the coolest thing for the cheapest price.

The ScreenSmasher is XP and 2000 compatible, but I’m not sure about Vista which should release soon. If all promises hold up we won’t need the stress reliever for the upcoming Windows Vista, but I highly doubt it. It will only work on a P4 with at least 128 MB of RAM. If you’re running anything with 128 MB of RAM, just leave it off because it’s not worth turning on so head to the nearest electronics store. There are no specifics on the included software, but I’m sure there’s a sensitivity setting so users can calibrate and create a realistic monitor rage fiasco. A great way to get several, “WTF man” from your friends and coworkers.

Price: $29.95
