it should work fine. That was smart avoiding buying a new T Mobile
phone since they are merging with Att and you would be held hostage to a
contract.

Gotta agree with @e1529ed416ace5d32d6971929b268992:disqus – you certainly don’t like T-mobile, which is fine, but try to be somewhat objective when you write articles.

As for this, Verizon’s phone lineup is just as weak as T-Mos. I don’t see a real difference. I’m sure Verizon paid a pretty penny for this just to convince regulators that T-mo is “on the way down” and should be absorbed by ATT, thus negating more competition in the mobile arena.
Businesses win and consumers lose. What a surprise.
