T-mobile sucks, their contracts are oppressively expensive. I had a Sidekick and stopped using it before closing the account after finding that they were charging me $75 in FCC fees per month without even making phone calls or their wireless data network. The average monthly bill ranged between $100-200. Their quarterly report shows that their customer base has been diminishing while Sprint's has been improving. Bought a Virgin Mobile prepaid which does everything the Sidekick does and much more with a flat fee of $25 a month.
