An AirPort card may very well be the built-in solution for wireless Internet on MacBook Pros, but what if you desire a faster WiFi speed? Then the QuickerTek WiFi ExpressCard might be the solution for you.
Sure, this device will get you downloading faster, but it is a bit pricey. At $199, it’s certainly not cheap and with the huge antenna, it’s not exactly an eye-pleaser, either.
The QuickerTek WiFi ExpressCard has full compatibility with Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station with 802.11 n wireless spec. You can achieve up to 300Mbit/second and the range for the wireless signal is up to three times that of a standard set up. It is best if you don’t already have an AirPort wireless card installed, though you can remove it prior to using this card.
