I wish they’d keep the screen size the same as the 4S while giving it a more rounded shape like in the picture. I personally prefer the smaller screen which allows the phone to more comfortably fit in your hand while typing with a thumb.

Apple made the smart phone a consumer hit. Once they did, Samsung jumped on the design band wagon and redesigned their phones to be more “iPhone” like. If you read through the design patent court case, it’s obvious after reading their emails and meeting notes that Samsung looked at Apple’s iPhone as their “design standard to beat.” Samsung’s biggest innovation was the Phablet category, But I don’t think Samsung “immediately copies” everything apple does. But I do think they considered the iPhone the new standard in smart phones and looked at its design to make their own products better. But to me, that’s business as usual.

Apple is a true innovator. It created all of its products from scratch. It hasn’t copied anyone. There were no smart phones or cell phones before the iPhone. BTW, Samsung was making cell phones and smart phones way before Apple.

it’s actually called misdirection, not lying. Knowing full well that whatever Apple does will be immediately copied by Samsung, Phil (and Apple) are simply delaying the inevitable as long as possible.

Seriously, does anyone truely think making the case plastic will make
the phone that much less expensive? It would cut maybe $20 from each
phone. OH THE SAVINGS!

I think the chinese are perfectly capable of making their own cheap knockoffs. There is no need for Apple to research how to make their phones [more] inferior.
