Every day is probably a bit much. But you probably do pump it up a little once a month? But even after a week you’ll already have lost a good bit of pressure. This tire simply helps you by keeping the pressure up practically all the time. Even if you haven’t pumped it up in a month and it’s gone rather flattish, you don’t have to grab a pump if you’re in a hurry.. just hop on, bike, and in no time it’ll be back up to pressure.

There is a video on the KickStarter page, as well as on YouTube. Basically this is a peristaltic pump with an overpressure protection valve. Air goes into a little tube along the contact surface of the tire, gets squeezed (because you’re rolling) toward the valve, and then into the inner tube (or not, if the valve detects overpressure).
