Stick with your vampire analogy but leave phantom power out of it!

I do agree with the early comments though. This is an awful implentation but we do need solutions to curb this type of electricity waste.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[This is stupid. They could&#039;ve integrated an automated mechanical cut off switch in the socket&#039;s body and do the same thing minus the annoying pop-out which could be dangerous in itself when it happens unattended.

To turn the socket back on you could either tap on it physically or use a - preferably RF / Bluetooth / WiFi - remote.]]></description>
