OK, fair enough, it is better than any PC running windows, but surely half the appeal of the Mac is the sheer quality and design of the hardware! Just from looking at the hackintosh, you can see that it is cheaply made and plasticky. The screen is smaller, noticeably dimmer, and the colors look washed out in comparison to the iMac’s screen.

Apple computers are probably not the best in the world, but they are the best at running MAC (not PC) OS! If you want to run OS X, then get a Mac, if you want to run Windows or some other god-awful, cryptic OS, then get a PC! DON’T TRY & MIX THE TWO!!!

On the other hand, OSX will not run any of my critical software so it’s a deal-breaker anyway. Apple does not cater to engineers.
