The Japanese PSP will be able to use their PSP to watch TV with Sony’s new PSP TV tuner. The PSP-S310 uses the cartridge port as connector to the PSP. The new thin PSP (PSP-2000) will be the only PSP model that is compatible with this TV tuner.

PSP-S310 TV tuner works in Japan only at this moment as it requires 1seg digital broadcast signals. Sony announced it will be available to consumer in Japan on September 20th this year and it will carry the price tag of ¥6980 or US$57.

Hopefully it will come here eventually, maybee, it would be awesome at sporting events. I would buy one.
I would buy one myself if it ever come to US
It might come to US because the tuner release date is the as the new slim PSP (in japan). so maybe 6 month after japan, who knows?
but if it doesn’t comes out in US, i’ll buy it on ebay just like the camera and GPS
id love to buy one but (1seg digital) is not all over the world, it would be great if sony can make a UHF, VHF tuner.
why does it only work in china
when will it come in UAE
Can the PSP-S310 work on my American PSP while I live in Japan? Are the North American models equipped to receive digital TV?
