It appears as though the PSP is getting internet radio sometime soon with the next firmware upgrade. Along with that the upgrade includes better support the OPML and pictures in RSS feeds.

pspshoutcast

I love internet radio; I have been using Pandora for a couple years now, and love it. Just recently I have started branching out to others such as Last.fm and I guess now I’ll have to check out SHOUTcast, which is from AOL, XM, and Nullsoft (the people who bring you WinAmp).

No word on when the update is coming, but the screen shots with some oriental characters in it indicate it will likely be launching in Asia sometime before the US. And there is absolutely no news as to when it will reach us, if it will reach us.
