Face it, these “big faceless corporations” that people love to hate is the reason we have all these comforts we have today. It takes money to run multiplayer games on the scale as PSN. First person shooters on the console’s don’t sell one copy if there isn’t a multiplayer aspect to it, So how was your Easter Weekend session of Black Ops?

For people who say Sony doesn’t owe us money is bullshit too since PSN is free as opposed to Xbox Live. Sony required PSN logins to play Black ops instead of Black Ops having its own independent system, so as of now I can’t play a huge part of my $60 game.

Hopefully Sony develops a plan B so we can play our online games in the event crap like this happens again. Capcom abandons this always on DRM crap since it will create more pirates when legitimate users don’t have access to games they bought and tried to play by the rules.

Use this time to start thinking about the bigger, real game that’s going on right now.

So those who created the media to threaten Sony probably aren’t linked in any way with the malicious hackers who may have dropped the bomb on Sony in a very impressive way. If this is some segment of the digital underground flexing their muscles we should look forward to a step forward in what is considered by my government to be international cybercrime. And by those involved, just business.

Sony can NOT continue to bend the laws to the will of corporate greed, but we as citizens can’t take the law into our own hands in such extreme ways because someone with no home trainin’ always takes it too far.

Ultimately, the law is supposed to be a consensus, and in America it is supposed to be the codified will of the people–one of whom Sony is through incorporation, blah, blah. But what seems to have happened here is that the will of the people has begun to take on a more urgent role because finally the people have reclaimed the sovereignty they gave to the executor, and have in so doing, recovered the power to enforce their will–from general to extreme.

Sony ticked someone off! Unfortunately, they of course won’t have to suffer any, but the REAL human beings will.
