Ritual unboxing ceremonies are important news in the geek world – think of them as the gadget’s coming-of-age equivalent of tribesmen taking the young into the forest and making them kill something furry.  After all that lovely video of the PS3′s interface in action, now we have a couple of unpacking galleries from the fluffy sweethearts at Kotaku and Engadget.  Sadly it’s not in retail packaging, being as it is a debugging unit, but it would be unfair of us not to coo and sigh over it all the same.
